Description
The Atlantic Geoscience Society (AGS) brings together earth scientists from universities, government, industry, and consulting firms in Atlantic Canada. The Atlantic Geoscience Society (AGS) brings together earth scientists from universities, government institutions, the mining and petroleum industries, and consultants in the Atlantic Provinces. Its membership includes professional geologists, students, and interested members of the public. It is an entirely volunteer association with a small membership fee. AGS is affiliated with the Geological Association of Canada (GAC) , the Canadian Society of Petroleum Geologists (CSPG) and the American Association of Petroleum Geologists (AAPG). AGS is a member society of the Canadian Federation of Earth Sciences (CFES).

facebook.comThe 43rd Colloquium and Annual General Meeting of the Atlantic Geoscience Society, "Innovations in Geoscience, Geological engineering, and the Geoenvironment in the Northern Appalachians" will be held in the Fredericton Inn & Conference Centre, Fredericton, New Brunswick, on February 10-11, 2017. The organizing committee has been working hard to sort out all the details about the conference and related events. These are now posted on the conference website at http://www.unb.ca/fredericton/science/depts/earth-sciences/facilities/ags_colloquium.html. Registration for the conference is now open, and the call for abstracts is issued. The deadline for abstracts and the deadline for accommodations block booking in the Fredericton in are both on Tuesday, 17 January.

Never Forgotten National Memorial Media Statement - Canada News Centre

AGS Colloquium 2016 - Truro
The annual AGS Colloquium will take place at the Holiday Inn in Truro on February 5-6, 2016. All meeting details, including the Program and Abstracts volume, are now available online at: http://www.acadiau.ca/~raeside/ags2016/ Please be advised that registration for the colloquium continues until next weekend, but that purchase of tickets for the luncheon and banquet on Saturday, 5th February, ceases at noon on Monday, 1 February. The AGM will be held at the luncheon.
