Hello Everyone! This year, rezEvents and WIRC are teaming up to host the End of Year Sleepover this coming weekend. There will be free food (for all who ran out of meal plan), big prizes and a Carnival the following day. All you have to do is RSVP!
Today is the last day of the u-Pass referendum. If you have not voted yet, please do so online or at any one of the polling stations around campus. uwindsor.ca/uwsavote
Hello everyone! This is what you need to do. Look at both Vote YES, and Vote NO page, come to your conclusion, then cast your vote online or at the CAW. Disclaimer: WIRC is in favor of the referendum as we identified that having a discounted bus pass will enhance the residence experience by giving students an inexpensive access into the city. However, your vote is your vote so go vote! Hello everyone! We had a few musings regarding the uPass referendum coming up. This boils down to a numbers game. If the majority vote for one side, that side wins. Therefore if you want either decisions to pass, please exercise your right to vote on March 16 and 17. See you then!
U-Pass Townhall
Hello everyone! On February 24, 2016, the Windsor Inter-Residence Council have decided to support the uPass referendum. We concluded the benefits given to residence students greatly outweigh the cost of the uPass. We encourage everyone to vote, whether it be for or against it. It is your vote, therefore your opinion on the matter. However we ask students to make an educated vote. We will posting links to the Vote Yes and Vote No Facebook page, as well as all correct, repeat correct, information. These include arguments made for both sides. If you wonder why we decided to support the referendum, please contact us and we will be more than happy to supply the answer. If you need more information, please check these pages out and/or contact the UWSA for more information #votesmartupass Vote YES: https://www.facebook.com/voteyesforupass/?fref=ts Vote NO: https://www.facebook.com/votenoforupass/?fref=ts Proposal: http://uwsa.ca/app/uploads/media/documents/180-2016-02-18.pdf Information: http://uwsa.ca/app/uploads/media/documents/173-2016-02-11.pdf
