Found City Yoga is a local, independent, owner-operated yoga studio serving Victoria and the Greater Victoria surrounding areas since 2008. Formerly Bikram Yoga Saanich, and under new ownership since 2014, we continue to provide the standard in Bikram Yoga, and a variety of other yoga class styles, including non-heated classes. We are located one block away from the Shelbourne and McKenzie intersection, on many major bus routes, and very close to the University of Victoria. We are thrilled to serve our diverse student populations, and we have great student rates on semester passes! The studio features full shower facilities, mat and towel services, a yoga boutique, and free parking underground and at street level.
Classes run seven days a week. Bikram Yoga is a standardized sequence from the Ghosh lineage, a fun, challenging, safe, and effective 90-minute class, often referred to as the “original hot yoga,” suitable for EVERYBODY. Our Bikram Yoga classes are taught true to the method, and exclusively by professional certified instructors. Hot Hour and Level II are also hot yoga class variations derived from the Ghosh lineage. And, we have non-heated (still warm!) classes in Power Hour, Yogahour, and Yin Yoga, always taught by professional certified yoga instructors.
We are a small and passionate teaching team of highly experienced yogis trained in various yoga and physical culture applications ranging from therapeutic (including pre-natal) to advanced. We cater to beginners, and we love to work with ALL levels of ability and experience!
The Intro One Month Unlimited pass (for local residents only) and full membership options are optimized to provide the lowest possible rates, and to encourage an unlimited regular practice. Plus, we have an excellent karma programme available for enthusiastic yogis who would like to join our team in exchange for a full membership! As a locally owned business, our revenue stays in local economy, thus enriching our whole community. Come and meet us today! Drop-ins always welcome.
