The Silver City Days Committee is looking for serious spaghetti eaters for the Spaghetti Eating Contest on Saturday, May 13!!! 70th Anniversary open house.
TRAIL FIREFIGHTERS OPEN HOUSE EVENT Join the Trail Firefighters Local 941 tomorrow (Sat, April 29th) at the Trail Fire Hall from 11am - 3pm as they celebrate their 70th Anniversary as a IAFF Local. Their Open House Event will include truck demos, a visit from Sparky and free hot dogs and cake for the communities they serve.

2017 Kootenay Healthy Lifestyles Expo
The City of Trail is a proud sponsor of the 2017 Kootenay Healthy Lifestyles Expo: Your one stop shop to get informed about healthy living! The event will feature exhibitors, expert speakers and demonstrations that promote holistic and western health practices, green initiatives, food sustainability, physical and emotional well-being, nutrition, and wellness. Attendees will have the opportunity to collect information, as well as purchase and experience products and services. Stop by the Trail Parks and Recreation booth to learn about their services, programs and events!

Stroll and enjoy the stations highlighted on the map from 7-9pm (Aquatic Centre Parking Lot station 7-8pm only). Communities in Bloom Volunteer Appreciation Evening with Mark Cullen
Celebrate Trail's Community Involvement Award and Canada 150 tulip spectacular at the Colombo Hall. Friday, May 5th from 7-9pm The event is open to all gardeners and citizens of Trail who have helped in big or small ways: gardening, cleanup campaigns, Avenue of the Clans supporters, various organizations, businesses and institutions who contributed so much to making our city such a great place to live. Tickets are free but please bring an item for the Food Banks. Tickets at Home Hardware, Century 21 Kootenay Homes and City Hall.

PUBLIC NOTICE: Temporary Closure of Columbia River Skywalk & East Trail intersection for Landscaping & Concrete Work at Bridge Approaches, Monday, April 24 - Monday, May 1st. The City understands this is an inconvenience and would like to express that Columbia River Skywalk closures will not be a regular occurrence. The landscaping and concrete work is part of the overall scope of the bridge construction project and the City is working hard to complete this portion in time for Trail Silver City Days, scheduled for May 10-14, 2017.
