Please share widely*****The 2016 Showcase Grenada event VENUE HAS CHANGED**** Due to the City of Toronto CUPE 79 workers ongoing / strike negotiations, the Grenada Independence Planning Committee and the Consulate General of Grenada in Toronto office had to make the very difficult decision to MOVE the 2016 Showcase Grenada Exhibition event to an alternative venue as the original venue is affected by the ongoing negotiations. 2016 Showcase Grenada Exhibition - Saturday, February 27, 2016 This event showcases everything Grenadian – Food, art, craft, music, vendors (local and from Grenada), artisans, businesses, sponsors and fresh produce from MNIB. This event is being held in collaboration with the City of Toronto, Parks, Forestry and Recreation, Consulate General of Grenada in Toronto, the Grenada Tourism Authority & the Grenada Independence Planning Committee (GIPC) . Date Saturday, February 27, 2016 Time: 2pm – 8pm NEW VENUE: Church of the Nativity - 10 Sewells Rd, Scarborough, ON M1B 3G5 Special Features: • Win a TRIP TO GRENADA compliments travel partner Caribbean Airlines • Check out properties, loans and electronic banking services available in Grenada from sponsors Grenada Co-operative bank - The Bank of the Diaspora. • Learn about legal services provided by young Grenadian lawyer - Renatta Austin • Special Dance workshop and activities for the kids. • Special performance by veteran calypsonian - Val Adams (7pm) • Over 20 Vendors!!
