JVS is a non-profit community organization that has been connecting people to work for over 60 years. We work in strong partnership with government and business to assist people from all walks of life to achieve their educational and employment potential. JVS Toronto helps people from all backgrounds with diverse needs to identify their strengths and goals, develop skills, and achieve success in school, work and life. We offer an expansive range of employment-related, educational and social support programs and services for newcomers, youth, children, people with disabilities, women, the unemployed and the underemployed.
Employment Source, JVS Toronto’s one-stop service centre, offers services customized to meet the individual needs of each job seeker. Services range from resource and information, job search workshops, employment counselling, as well as job placement and job retention services. Depending on the individual’s particular employment needs, we will assist in developing job search skills, finding employment and building their career.
