I am happy to announce that the T:GO Call 'n Ride Program officially starts booking rides on Monday, February 29th for our first Tillsonburg drive on Wednesday, March 2nd. This project is part of the CT Pilot Program Steering Committee's efforts to provide more transportation options in Tillsonburg – funded by the Ministry of Transportation Ontario through the CT Pilot Program Grant. Anyone in Tillsonburg, who needs a low-cost ride anywhere in town, can call T:GO Call 'n Ride at 519-842-9000 - ask for T:GO. As this is a new project, we ask that residents try to give us 24 hours notice when booking a ride. Within a few months, the amount of time needed in advance will become shorter. And, to ride on the T:GO Call 'n Ride van, residents must purchase a T:GO Rider Pass at The Livingston Centre. Passes are sold in packs of 5 rides for $10, and 10 rides for $20 – meaning each ride costs only $2 each way, per person. The T:GO Rider Pass will be available for sale on Monday, February 2. To book a ride with T:GO Call 'n Ride, dial 519-842-9000 (ask for T:GO) starting on Monday. The first drive rolls out on Wednesday. For more information on the T:GO Call 'n Ride Program, and other transportation programs, call 519-842-9000, extension 257. You can also follow T:GO on Facebook (T:GO).
