Ten Minute Detour Formed in 2013 using popular classified ad site Kijiji, Ten Minute Detour cut their teeth from a small, detached heatless garage in Calgary, Alberta, where they set in place the foundation for “Lay It Down”, the bands debut full-length album. Highlights from Lay It Down include “Four Papers” and “Getaway”, a couple catchy alternative rock tracks which have helped pave the road for Ten Minute Detour. In 2017, TMD headed south to Nashville, TN, teaming up with producer and former Cage the Elephant guitarist, Lincoln Parish, recording seven tracks in seven days. Their sophomore record, Common Pleasure, is a testament to the bands development in song writing and story telling, shedding the garage rock skin and dawning a more expansive, gripping sound.
