Prairie College
Description
Welcome to the Official Prairie Facebook Page! We are a Christ-Centred college in Three Hills, AB. Whether students come for 1 or 4 years, we hope they will encounter the living God, His Word and be equipped to address the greatest needs of the world. Over the decades Prairie has been known for a relentless commitment to the task of preparing workers for the harvest fields. Whether we look overseas or in our own backyards, it is clear that the need for the life-giving message of Jesus Christ has never been greater. Prairie is committed to providing relevant training for service that directly addresses the world's greatest needs.

Another update from our Humanities trip: Our third stop in Italy is Rome. We have spent our first day exploring the Coliseum, the Roman Forum and parts of the Vatican. We are looking forward to our other stops in Rome!

From our Humanities trip: Our second stop was in Ravenna where Joe and Nicolle were very excited to see the Basilica of San Vitale after studying about it for 2 years! The interior was even more spectacular than we imagined. One of the other Basilicas we visited was also filled with mosaics and depicted the triumph of Christianity over Arianism. It was a powerful apologetic in images created by stone for the divinity of Christ.

The Explore - Wilderness and Leadership Program is currently trekking in Tibet. This is a photo from their travels. "At this 10,000ft meadow (with yaks and a yak herder's cabin, see the little blue roof) the mountains were still towering in the distance. We had awesome lectures from Jim @extravagantyak about culture and worldview and perfect weather."
