Well, the 31st Atlantic Balloon Fiesta is on the books as a RECORD BREAKER!!!! What an amazing, amazing weekend. We would like to thank the Town of Sussex and its people for opening their arms and welcoming the tourists near and far that traveled to experience our BEAUTIFUL EVENT! Sponsors, for making this event possible. Pilots, a lot of people do not realize you are hand selected and individually invited, and now we know why, you guys and gals are professionals and the love of your hobby/sport shines through every time you grace our horizon! Crew with all your dedication and hard manual labour, we know you will bring the pilots back to the field safely! Entertainment, we just get better and better every year we are blessed with the entertainers! WE have returning talent every year and now everyone knows why you are spectacular! And to our new entertainment additions, can't wait to see you again next year. Entertainers, whether you were on the SuperStore bandstand or on the grounds, praises ring out over and over again. Car show was a success even in the misting rain. Last but not least a big THANK YOU to the volunteer committee who with their dedication, enthusiasm and insight is overwhelmingly inspiring!! There is tons going on today at the last day of the 31st Atlantic Balloon Fiesta! Our craft fair is open 9am-5pm, live entertainment at our Atlantic Superstore Bandstand, our Classic & Antique Car Show and Shine from 11am-4pm, free children's activities, Hinchey's Amusement Rides, Ground Zero Laser Tag, Sussex Tail Waggers K9 Performance Team with guest performers the K9 PAT platoon, Sky Athletics Performance, a balloon launch at 5:30pm (weather permitting) and much much more!!
