Our Outdoor Education club had an awesome weekend. We lucked out with a bit of a Chinook in the mountains on Friday (temps between 0 and -5!) We woke up, got on our gear and headed out for a x-country ski lesson and trip up to Terrace, had lunch at hostel, skied some more (Terrace-Kovach), went skating at K-village, had dinner at the hostel, went snowshoeing at 8 pm on Ribbon Creek and gazed at the stars! Woke up the next day to -20.... but we still put on our gear and went for a blitz snowshoe to Troll Falls. The kids all said they had so much fun and really enjoyed the trip. Everyone was super positive, keen to try new things and challenge themselves. Thank you so much to Ms. Roberts, Ms. Aitken and Mr. Mertz!
