The world relies on Almex for its pressing, laminating, and vulcanizing equipment solutions more than any other company in the world.

Almex offers the most advanced conveyor belt repair tools in the industry. Industry leader in design and manufacturer of a full range of vulcanizers and presses for splicing all types of belting and stationary presses for fabrication of flat and profile conveyor belting. Almex recently introduced the UBR press featuring High Tensile Restraints (HTR); a lighter and stronger system to replace heavy pressure bolts. The full line of BAT tools and accessories for black belt are faster, safer and priced competitively.

Almex offers certified splice training, expert hot splice troubleshooting and splice consulting through Almex Institute.
The Fusion Systems division of Almex group provides splicing tools and repair materials to complement the advanced Almex conveyor belt vulcanizers. The product lineup includes pulley lagging, CeraTex ceramic lagging, lining, hot and cold bond splicing cements, repair materials, EZ Fix and one of the largest selections of hand and power tools in the industry.

The Advanced Development Programs (ADP) division within the Almex Group has developed a ruggedized Android tablet computer – the ALMEXPAD.  Its purpose is to revolutionize the machine-to-machine capabilities throughout the conveyor belt industry, mainly focusing on the mining sector.  The Senior version of the ALMEXPAD uses wireless technologies such as WiFi, GSM, GPS, and Bluetooth to optimize processes related to splicing conveyor belts, surveying conveyor systems.  Future versions will have integrated RFID functionality.  Currently, an RFID wand can be used via Bluetooth or USB.

These tablet computers control a new line of Almex vulcanizing equipment using the latest Vulcanizer Switch Gear Control Box – SG1.  The SG1 uses WiFi or USB to communicate with the ALMEXPAD via Splice Monitor software.  Wireless Air Bag Pressure Sensors communicate with ALMEXPAD via the SG1.  Reports can be sent directly from the tablet to a supervisor or customer when a splice is completed.

ALMEXPAD is also used in conjunction with BeltGard. a steel cord conveyor belt scanning system, via WiFi or an Ethernet cross-over cable.  This game changing, patented technology can either be permanently installed to detect belt degradation or failure, or used immediately after a splice for Quality Control verification.

For over 50 years the world has relied on Almex for its pressing, laminating, and vulcanizing equipment solutions more than any other company in the world.  Almex is advancing industry control and monitoring systems and releasing many new products to a loyal and expanding customer base.
