Creative Paws Pet Spa offers grooming for both dogs and cats. Quality service and gentle handling are my highest priorities. My goal is for all my furry clients to enjoy their time at the spa. I offer traditional dog grooming, cat grooming, creative grooming, comfort grooming, show preparation and Asian fusion style dog grooming. I also specialize in grooming and rehabilitating dogs and cats who are difficult to groom, helping them to relax and reversing behavioral problems so that the grooming process becomes less stressful and more enjoyable. My salon uses only high quality products and techniques to provide the best possible groom. I stagger my appointments well out so as to ensure I will never be in a hurry and can take the time each individual client needs to be comfortable.

About Me:
My Mom was a certified groomer with a successful pet salon and boarding kennel. I began helping my Mom groom dogs from a very young age, and my love of grooming blossomed. My Mom passed down to me her values for quality work and gentle dog handling. After graduating high school, I went abroad and attended a well known grooming school called Maser's Academy to achieve my Master's stylist certification in dog, cat, and rabbit grooming. After my groomer certification, I then attended one of the most successful dog training school's in Canada (Canada West Canine Center) and achieved my Master's training certification. In addition, I have attended seminars taught by international grooming competition champions to achieve further knowledge in some of the newest grooming styles that are beginning to gain popularity in Canada. I am also certified in pet first aid, cat care, kennel management, and am a member of the International Professional Groomers Association. The pet grooming industry is continuously evolving as new technique and equipment is developed. As a pet stylist, I believe it is my responsibility to continually learn so that I am able to offer my clients the trendiest styles and the most modern, safe and efficient techniques, products and equipment.

Fall Obedience Classes: Basic Obedience and Manners Class- 6 week run Wednesdays at 6:30pm- September 13, 20, 27. October 4, 18, 25 These will be drop in format, 15 dollars per training night. To be added to the drop in list please either text me at 780-864-5400 or Facebook message me with your name, your dogs name and a phone number to add you to the text list. If you have any questions don't hesitate to contact me.
Just a reminder to my regular grooming clients that I have no grooming openings in July. For those of you who can not wait until August I am holding a few spots at the end of June. If you have yet to get booked in, please contact me so you can secure your spot!
Creative Paws Training Class Schedule- Summer 2017 Spirit River. All classes this year will be drop in format. There will be no specific basic obedience classes offered, however there will be an open class where the content will depend on the needs of whoever attends. Examples of content that can be covered includes basic obedience, overcoming reactive behavior (fear/aggression) towards dogs or people, basic manners, etc. For those looking to overcome behavior problems or work on specific behaviors this will be the class to attend. However, I also highly recommend attending either Rally-O or Agility (or both), as well because those classes are a very fun way to help overcome a multitude of behaviors, as well as improving obedience and strengthening the bond between you and your dog. June (FIRST WEDNESDAY CLASS MAY 31st): Wednesdays 6:30pm- Open Training Class (All Levels) Wednesdays 7:30pm- Rally-O Class (All Levels) Cost: 15 dollars per dog/handler team. Those who attend the open class can stay for the Rally-O class for no extra cost. Thursdays 6:30pm- Agility (All Levels) Cost: 10 dollars per dog/handler team July: No classes August: Wednesdays 6:30pm- Open Training Class (All Levels) Wednesdays 7:30pm- Rally-O Class (All Levels) Cost: 15 dollars per dog/handler team. Great news! I have an experienced guest bather joining me in the salon on November 4th. She has appointments available to short and medium haired (ex. golden retriever) dog and cat bath and brushes on that day. Included in her services will be a wonderful professional messaging bath, aromatherapeutic blueberry facial, nail trim and dremel, deshedding brush out and trimming (feet, face, belly, feathers).
