The swimming pool in Spirit River has always been a great place to bring the family and enjoy a swim! Stop by and check out our newly renovated facility. Originally constructed in 1967, the Spirit River Centennial Pool had always been busy offering summer fun and excitement. Newly renovated and re-opened for 2013, the Richardson Pioneer Central Peace Aquatic Centre is one of the best summer destinations in the Central Peace. Our pool has something for everyone including whirlpool, hot tub, beach entry and waterslides. Come and check out our swimming lessons or aquasize programs. We are now accepting applications for the 2017 season (our 5th season!!), looking to fill the following positions: Aquatic Assistant (min. age 14, training opportunities will be available) Aquatic Instructor (min. age 15, must have Water Safety Instructor or Water Art certificate) Lifeguard (min. age 15. Must have a valid Lifeguard award, Standard First Aid and CPR) Supervisors and Management positions (min. age 18. Must have a valid lifeguard award, Standard First Aid and CPR. WSI, LSI and NLI are assets to these positions) Full and part time opportunities. Employment term is May to September. Today is our last day of the 2016 season. Open for Public Swim 12-8pm. Thanks to all the patrons and staff that helped to make it another great summer!!
Due to the wind and recent rain the pool is colder than usual. We will be open 12-8pm today but please be advised of the cooler water temperatures. The hot tub is open!!
We are in our final week! Tonight is the last night for Aquasize (7:00-8:00pm). Our last day is Sunday (12:00-8:00pm) come and enjoy our heated pool before we close for the season!!
Due to the heavy rain we will be closing at 7pm this evening. Open tomorrow at noon!
