Sooke River Campground
Description
The Sooke River Campground (The Flats) is a family-oriented, private campground owned by the Sooke Community Association. Sooke River Campground is owned and operated by the Sooke Community Association (SCA) The SCA was established in 1935 and is a non-profit organization run by a Board of Directors. The proceeds from camp fees and sales are used by the Association in support of the many Sooke organizations that use the Sooke Community Hall and the Sooke Community Association playing fields, ie Fred Milne Park and Art Morris Park. There are many community volunteers that make all this happen.
Thank You for your stay and support.
The Sooke River Campground offers a comfortable, well-maintained and quiet setting with beautiful scenery and our guests enjoy a variety of camping choices from shady full-service RV camp sites, tent camp sites, or 3 self-contained rustic cabins.
We also host annual events such as the Sooke Canada Day Celebration and the Sooke River Bluegrass Music Festival, this year being held on June 17, 18, 19, 2016.
