Aamjiwnaang First Nation Administration and Council
Description
Welcome to the OFFICIAL Facebook Page for the Aamjiwnaang First Nation Administration and Council. In 1827 the Amherstburg Treaty was implemented creating 4 First Nations in what is now Southwestern Ontario. One of these
First Nations formed was the Chippewas of Sarnia, now known as the Aamjiwnaang First Nation. We are a progressive community with a rich history, a thriving present, and a promising future. With the Seven Grandfather Teachings as our guiding our principles, we will continue to ensure that our traditions and culture are passed down to the next generations.
