The New Textron Wildcat XX is ready to roll as well. Shannon liked it so much Security had to pull her from it screaming and kicking. Guess we will have one for a demo this year. 125 Horsepower, King Shocks, 18 inches of travel, 30” CST Behemoth tires, 14 inches of ground clearance and full doors round this Beast out very nicely.

Even the youth ZR-200 youth sled has it's share of changes. This sled is so cool for the kids. It is enough sled that the youngsters have a real sense of independence. They do not need to rely on Mom and Dad to help them with everything. The one issue that did come up was that some kids still need a bit of help starting their machine. Well with the addition of Electric Start this year...problem solved. Last year we literally were sold out of ZR-200's before any even arrived here. This year will be no different I am sure. And yes you can "Snow Check" these little monsters.

The '19 Mountain Cat has had it's share of refinements as well. So many people like Wade Nicholson for so many years have said the handlebars sure could use some improving. Well Wade your prayers have been answered. Why don't Cat sleds come with tethers from the factory??? This is a safety thing and our resident Avy/Safety guy Wes Gano from Apex Alpine Adventures Ltd. thinks all sleds should have one...I agree. Magnetic tether now comes stock on most models. The Retro Purple is so cool but for those few who don't like it the Mountain Cat is also available in Black.

So it looks like all the rumours are true. The "AlphaCat" does exist. The Alpha One has a patented single beam design and it boasts an 11-pound weight loss, reduces snow accumulation, and requires less rider input for cornering and boondocking. Essentially, it makes the beginner rider feel like an intermediate, and takes the experienced rider to a new level. In addition, a 3.5-inch pitch x 3-inch Power Claw track was developed to increase traction (it comes in a 154-inch and 165-inch option). This track was developed to flex and conform to the snow giving the long tracks more finesse and shorter tracks more peppiness in deep snow.

Not to steal any thunder from the upcoming 2019 Arctic Cat sled release which is in only three more sleeps but I thought you might want to check out the 2018 Mud Pro 700 which just arrived. 3000# Warn Winch, front and rear bumpers, 28" Maxxis Zilla tires, aluminum beadlock wheels and 14 huge inches of ground clearance are just some of the features of this Monster.
