   Getting a trainer is essential to your safety and progress. A trainer will maximize your results by keeping you injury free and making the most out of your time in the gym with program cycling and balanced workouts. Having a trainer with experience and education is essential to your fitness journey. Ask questions and learn! The fitness industry is constantly evolving which can be good and bad. As we learn about the human body and what training methods work best for each person’s goals we need to adjust by eliminating out of date practices and adding new protocols. I subscribe to the benefits of exercise variety to make a complete transformation towards your goals. Exercise fads may come with some benefits but sticking to one style may render you in a plateau phase. New fads often mean little knowledge about its effect or potential harmful consequences (i.e. Crossfit). Having a knowledgeable trainer to filter the good and bad will assist your progress and keep you injury free. Starting a workout program should make your life better while allowing you to reach your goals. When it comes to working out, slow and steady is always best. Track your progress, write, talk to your trainer, and take rest days. Working out should be challenging and fun.  Take your fitness and healthy lifestyle to a new level by setting up semi/private sessions and/or consulting your diet. Train and make friends!
