Kautz Kreations
Description
I give old furniture a new look, repurpose what I can and also work with barn board and pallets to make cool 'kreations'.

facebook.comMy half finished kitchen cupboards. We've just finished pulling all the carpet out and new flooring starts tomorrow. Someday this long renovation will be done! I also stained the banister yesterday - the honey oak is almost history in our house!
Well, I'm still working on my house reno - walls are all painted, trim almost done and I'm onto painting vanities and kitchen cupboards. I'm fitting in some long overdue projects for some very patient people! Two barn board trays done and a barn board 'table runner' for me😀. Next up will be a stool and dresser refresh!
Taking a break from painting the house to do up this cute vanity. A friend from Leslieville gave this to me so it seems appropriate to give back. Most locals know the Leslieville Elks Lodge was destroyed at the end of December due to a senseless act of arson. I’m donating this for the silent auction. Hopefully it goes for a good price. Before and after!
I want to paint furniture again😩
I’m taking a break from chalk painting to paint my whole house - walls, trim, baseboards , vanities and cupboards😳. It’s a huge task and I will never do this for a job! I am excited to add a few rustic bits to my house transformation - check out my new towel rack! I even found a little ‘E’ on it - meant for me😉
One last project before the holidays. My before photo is halfway through the project😲.
Hmm - I’m loving these vintage handles on this barn board tray! This is a custom job for someone but I think I will be making another for myself😍
Trying to get Christmas projects done for a couple people today. The shelf unit will house a Christmas Village and was unfinished wood previously. I'm also working on a barn board tray - just need to round up some handles and put it together!
This cute little guy just needed a refresh😀
This was my day! The table and chairs weren't a matching set so I stained table top and seats to match and did a couple coats of white over the rest. I must say I really dislike painting chairs - too many rungs, nooks and crannies that take forever😖. But I like the finished product. These are off to my daughter's place.
Leftover bits of wood make great coasters!
My first chalk painting class! Thanks Shelley at Pebble Ridge for hosting🙂. We had a great group of ladies!
