Dogs and cats aren't the only ones that get into mischief and eat things they aren't suppose to. Meet Arwen, she belongs to one of our amazing techs Hannah. Last Thursday night was like any other, Hannah got home from work, and let Arwen out of her kennel. Except she wasn't acting herself, she was shaking, and she was lethargic. Hannah knew something was very wrong. So she rushed back to work to have the Doctor examine her. Xrays revealed an odd gas pattern and with Arwen getting worse, the Doctor went into surgery with her at 3 am. They found that Arwen had chewed and ate the bed that she had her whole life! The material was stuck in her intestines causing a blockage. The Doctor removed the material and now Arwen is on the mend. These photos show our floor manager Jaqueline holding Arwen, and Arwen at home during her recovery.
