Riverview Fire and Rescue
Description
Riverview Fire and Rescue provides fire services and fire prevention to the town of Riverview, NB. The Fire & Rescue Department provides mutual aid fire services to neighbouring agencies and jurisdictions. It offers specialized services and personnel trained in water and ice rescue, high angle and off-road rescue.
The force includes a Chief, two Deputy Chiefs, four Captain/Paramedics, 12 Firefighters/Paramedics and an Administrative Assistant, supported by 28 volunteer firefighters. The Department responds to more than a thousand emergency incidents annually from one central station.

An NBCC Auto Extrication course is ongoing at Riverview Fire and Rescue, with Instructor Captain Allard.
Some of the volunteer firefighters spent the morning helping the Boys & Girls Club of Riverview sell Christmas trees at their lot in the Riverview Home Hardware parking lot. It was cold but a lot of fun. If you need a Christmas tree, go see them. There are lots of good ones left.
