Summer Camp ~ DOLLHOUSE CAMP This is going to be AMAZING!! Design and decorate an entire dollhouse!! Paint your house, build furniture, wallpaper walls, make artwork for the walls, design your dream house!! Design a house for your Lego guys...or maybe your My Little Ponies!! Each child receives a full size, 2-storey, raw wood dollhouse that they work on throughout the week to paint decorate and furnish. Dollhouse camp is great for girls AND boys! Creativity is a must for this one-of-a-kind art camp. Each child will take home their finished house at the end of the week. BEGINNER POTTERY - HAND BUILDING (14YRS +) INSTRUCTOR - KARLIE KING Before potters had the pottery wheel, they were creating spectacular pots and clay forms. Using clay, their hands, and a minimum of tools they brought function and artistry together. In this pottery class students will learn the three basic hand built pottery techniques, Coil, Pinch and Slab construction and will create a variety of functional and decorative pieces using these techniques. All pieces created in this class will be glazed with high fire glaze and fired in our kiln. All clay, glaze, and firing of projects are included in the cost of this class. BEGINNER MIXED MEDIA - ART JOURNALING BASICS (14YRS+) INSTRUCTOR - MAUREEN BACHMANN Beginner Mixed Media is a brand new class designed with the beginner artist in mind. If you are looking to explore the world of art and have a chance to try all kinds of interesting tools and mediums, this is the class for you. Beginner Mixed Media is a process based art making class, so the focus is on the "making" and "doing", rather than on the finished product. In this class, instructor Maureen Bachmann, will introduce students to the world of mixed media art. Learn how to create mixed media backgrounds, painting techniques, colour, texture, lettering, stamping, collaging and MORE! This is a super fun art project that I’ve done with many kids. They absolutely LOVE it!! They can make marble paper and the use it to write letters on, or cut up for collaging, or add more paint to it for a mixed media layered painting! The possibilities are endless. Either way something about shaving cream and paint that kids can’t get enough 😂 🎨🌈💜🦄👌🏼😎

✨ADULT POTTERY CLASS✨ If you have never sat down at a pottery wheel before but have always wanted to give it a try, this is the class for you. Artist and instructor Karlie King will teach participants the basics of wheel throwing techniques as well as how to prepare clay, use and care for tools. Each class will begin with instruction and demonstration, then students will spend time practicing what they have learned. This class focuses on the process of creating pieces on the wheel, so the emphasis each class is on skills rather than a finished product. Some of the completed pieces created in class will be glazed with high fire glaze. Classes are small, with only 10 students, which allows for maximum one on one time with the instructor. MACRAME WALL HANGING WORKSHOP INSTRUCTOR - LORI DEGENSTEIN OF FERN AND SPARROW 14+ YEARS Join Lori Degenstein in the cozy atmosphere of the Goodearth Coffeehouse Harbour Landing, for an evening of crafting! Sip on a latte or a glass of wine while you learn the wildly popular art of macrame. During this workshop, you will learn the foundation knots of macramé to create your very own gorgeous wall hanging. You will create your very own wall hanging from start to finish.
