Meet Mari, a 3.5 year old DSH. Mari came in for her routine annual exam and her owners had noticed she had lost her girlish figure. Sure enough Mari tipped the scale weighing in at 7.1kg. With a tailored weight loss plan Mari has successfully started to loose that extra weight. Mari's energy has increased and that girlish figure has started to show again. Way to go Mari! Let's help cheer her on to continue to loose the extra pounds and reach her healthy weight. 🎉

It’s a ‘ruff’ like for Mocha, who’s biggest problem is figuring out what to do with her ears.
We had a great dental health month! There are now many more pets who are more comfortable, healthier and have much better breath. We still do dental education and estimates throughout the year so feel free to stop in and chat with our staff about your pets dental heath.
We think Kelsey gets the Veterinary Olympic Gold Medal for the most French Bulldogs held at one time.
It’s a tough life for Theodore, our clinic cat. Today Theo had his annual Senior Panel bloodwork. His bloodwork came back perfectly normal, which is excellent for a 13 year old cat. Good work, Theo!
Would you have ever thought that even hedgehogs need dental care? Little Gimli is the sweetest guy and he needed to have some teeth pulled due to infection. Dental disease is actually rather common in hedgies but can be prevented by- you guessed it- brushing! It can be hard to teach adult hedgehogs to allow brushing, so its important to get them used to it at a young age. Gimli is feeling much better since his extractions and will be having the rest of his teeth brushed every day by his owner.
We had a visit from gorgeous Kylie today! She’s a big girl at 66 lbs at only 6 months old. Can you guess what breed she is?
