Hello Severn! As of today, October 16th, 2017, the Ontario College Staff are now on strike. Here is some important information to help you over the strike period: • The residence will remain in full operation; all students are welcome to remain at Severn or head home. • Resident Advisor staff are still fully available and can be reached using the on-call number. • We are hosting a board game open house with free coffee & tea in suite 120 (by the office) each day starting at 12:00pm (noon) to 12:00am. • As Fleming College counseling services is also on strike, we want to remind students of other local resources which are publicly available regardless of the strike. These include: o Good2Talk; 24 Hour Counseling Hotline: 1-866-925-5454 o 4 County Crisis: 1-866-995-9933 o In an emergency please contact 9-1-1 • Once the strike is over, courses will resume, often in a condensed or expedited form. This unexpected downtime is the perfect opportunity to catch up on your studies. Make the most of this opportunity by studying, reviewing old notes or reading ahead! Keep an eye out for posters and advertisements for evening Residence events coming soon!

Hello Severn Court Residents! Please be advised that as of Monday September 25th; the office will be closing at 4:00pm for business services moving forward. At 4:00pm the Resident Advisor will still be available to provide general customer service and assistance. Management & Business Services such as rent payments are available during regular office hours of 9:00am-4:00pm Monday-Friday.

Congratulations to Lynsey Kipp! She is the winner of the 2017 Severn Court Sweepstakes. The draw was conducted on September 13th at 10:00AM by Chris Haze, Regional Director of Campus Living Centres. Lynsey has won the entire value of her lease in the form of a rent credit. We are looking forward to the 2018 Sweepstakes. Congrats once again Lynsey!!
