Sunday the fair hosted an Open Junior Beef Showmanship show for the first time. Open to any kids age 9-22. Thank you again to our Judge Eric Rincker for coming to Perth Fair to judge our Junior show. Eric was great and offered valuable advice and pointers for the young showmen in the ring. The Grand Champion Showperson was Nicholas James of Perth, a Novice member of the Lanark 4-H Beef Club. Congratulations! This show was generously sponsored by some local families and businesses and we would like to thank them for that: Norwood Family Farm of Westport, The Perth Veterinary Clinic, Boehringer Ingelheim Canada, John McLellan Welding of Smiths Falls. It was a great show, and even though it was raining everyone was nice and dry thanks to the hard work of Beef Comittee volunteers who transformed the cattle barn into a first class show ring overnight. Thank you again to all involved.

Good morning. Unfortunately we have had to cancel our Western Games Show today due to the footing in the ring being unsafe for speed events.

Congratulations and thank you to all who attended the Perth Fair Family Fun Horse Show today. It was wet but a good show and a nice start to a new tradition 😀 Thank you to our judge Sherri McFaul.
