This year at Glenmary we recognized students who had Perfect Attendance. Throughout the year we had draws for the Junior and Senior high students and we wrapped up the year with a Grand Prize draw for an electric guitar! Congrats to all of our winners!! Perfect Attendance pays off!!

Glenmary students: Did you know that you can start college early? With a Health Care Aide Certificate, you can work in acute care, continuing care, long-term care, home care and assisted living. The course is delivered online with the exception of two, one-week labs at the Northern Lakes campus in Peace River. 200 practicum hours are also required, which can be done in or close to your home community with an approved employer. To register or for more details, see Mr. Randall at Glenmary School scott.randall@hfcrd.ab.ca At the end of the school year and upon successful completion of the program, students will earn a Health Care Aide certificate from Northern Lakes College plus 25 high school credits toward their high school diploma. Prerequisites for the program include English 10-1 or 10-2 and Math 10-3 or equivalent is strongly recommended. This program is also offered to returning students who are taking upgrading. Register before June 30th!

ATTENTION: GUESTS OF GLENMARY GRAD MASS The Town of Peace River has announced that the annual bridge inspection work will be taking place on the Highway Two Bridge in Peace River during Glenmary School's Grad Mass. The inspection is expected to be completed from 5:00pm to midnight on Friday June 8th and Saturday June 9th. If you are attending grad mass and travelling across the bridge, please allow yourself more time to avoid any delays. This work is part of the annual maintenance required for the bridge. During work hours traffic will be reduced to one lane of alternating traffic, temporary traffic lights, and speed reductions. Please allow yourself more time if travelling across the bridge during this time.
