We have been receiving numerous inquiries and requests about the Necessary Cork Clutch Wallet. In response, we took a look at our calendar and decided that we could hold another class before Christmas (if there is enough interest). So we have a 1-day class (9 am - 5 pm) scheduled for Saturday Nov 4th. This will be a class format not a retreat (BYOL - bring your own lunch) and the cost is $52.00 plus tax and fabric & supplies. There are a very limited amount of spaces for this class so if you would like to take part, please contact the Studio asap (519-774-5164 or heirloomtreasures01@gmail.com) to reserve a spot. Fun, fantastic, friendship, fellowship, frivolity, fabulous - all these words and more describe our second Necessary Cork Clutch Wallet Retreat. And just as in the first retreat , everyone created a unique and beautiful wallet - Shirley- elegant in blue and silver, Janice - fun in shades of bright teal blue, Pam - stunning in reds/oranges, Kelly - fabulous in rainbow splattered metallic cork accented with bright green, just to name a few. And a special wow to Anne who blew us all away with her creative design for her strap - Anne pieced together various fabrics in colours that were echoed her cork to make her strap - what a great idea! Thanks to everyone who participated - you are what makes this type of event worthwhile!

I hope everyone had a fantastic Thanksgiving - lots of turkey/ham, lots of goodies and lots of love & laughter. And speaking of fantastic and laughter, the NCCW Retreat on September 30 was just that - Fanstatic and filled with sewing camaraderie, fellowship and lots of laughter, not to mention yummy food and goodies. These beautiful and unique Castell Day bags were created in the Studio today by a group of very artistic and gifted ladies - fabulous work Anne, Kelly & Trula!

Our fall classes have started. The first bag class is the Castell Day Bag (from Emmaline Bags). Here is the stunning version that our very talented Patti created using Flight of Fancy by Northcott accented with a solid navy blue . Beautiful job Patti!
