The Cumberland County Exhibition, under the auspices of the Oxford Agriculture Society, has been in operation since 1918. it was started as a one-day show, The Cumberland County Exhibition, under the auspices of the Oxford Agriculture Society, has been in operation since 1918. it was started as a one-day show, changed to 2 and the 3 days, and now runs a full 6 days including 4H events. The Blueberry Harvest Festival was added in 1988. The 15-member Board of Directors consists entirely of volunteers. We are located in Oxford, Cumberland County, Nova Scotia - "The Blueberry Capital of Canada".

Today is the last day to come out and enjoy the fun! It's Family Day which means we have the Petting Farm and Pony Rides from 2-8pm, Little Rays Reptile Zoo at 3:30 and 6:30, Face Painting, and Disney's Frozen Princesses Elsa and Anna at 2:30! Photo Opportunity available after the show. The Purdy Recourses Wild Blueberry Bake-Off will happen at 4:30 on the second stage. Barry Patriquin will be on the second stage at 7:30! At 6:15 tonight The Terrio Sisters and Friends will be in the Arena. At 8:00pm Hypnotist- Ian Stewart will also be putting on a show in the Arena!

Today is Children's Day! We have a Petting Farm and Pony Rides from 2-8pm, a magician at 2:30, and little Rays Reptile Zoo at 1:30 and 6:00pm. Tonight at 7:00pm Earl Mattinson and and Friends will be on the second stage and at 7:30 the Horse Pulls will be in the arena! Saturday is Family Day! There will be a Petting Farm and Pony Rides from 2-8:00pm, Little Rays Reptile Zoo at 3:30 and 6:30, and Disney's Frozen Princesses Elsa and Anna at 2:30 on the second stage! After the show there will be photo opportunity available The street parade starts at 1pm tomorrow. Make sure to go out and enjoy it! The amateur Woodsmen Competition will start at 3:30 outdoors, and Barry Patriquin will be on the second stage at 7:30. We will end a great week with Ian Stewart- Hypnotist at 8:00 See you there!

There will be face painting tonight from 5-8:30 in the 4-H building. Janelle Tattrie will be representing Maggie's Place, Resource Centre for Families. Come see her for a free face paint, and you can even do a little chatting about what Maggie's Place has to offer! See you there!

Today is Aboriginal Day! We have Artifacts, Jewelry, and Dream Catcher Demonstrations! Deedra Greene is on the second stage at 3:00 and Chelsea Atkinson at 7:00. At 7:15 Mounted Shooting Demonstration will be in the arena followed by Home Grown Country at 8:15! Tomorrow will be Children's Day! There will be a Petting Farm and Pony Rides from 2:00-8:00 pm, Little Rays Reptile Zoo at 1:30 and 6:00, The Amazing Magic Show at 2:30, and Earl Mattinson and Friends at 7:00 pm.
