Unfortunately, we will have to cancel our Story Hour program for this Friday, May 5, 2017. Please join us for our LAST Story Hour of this year/season on Friday, May 26th, 10-11 am when we will have a special mini-concert by Jim and Shirley Galloway. VERY happy to report that provincial government funding has been restored to SK libraries! This means that we can once again offer province-wide hold requests and transfer of materials, hoopla (online borrowing of digital books, movies, TV shows, music, and more!), and other FREE services! THANK YOU, everyone, for your vocal and active support!

Thank you to the Souris-Moose Creek Wildlife Federation and auctioneer Dennis Seymour for helping us raise funds for Oxbow Public Library Branch Southeast Regional Library, Ada Staples Library at their Dinner & Auction 2017 last weekend, and to Bryce Merkley for bidding generously on this 1972 Hockey Canada poster, a little piece of Canadian history found in the library, now given new life for a good cause!

The Ride

Stacey and Teresa Nahachewsky -- sisters who are currently riding on horseback from Pierson, MB to White Rock, BC -- stopped into Oxbow Public Library Branch Southeast Regional Library, Ada Staples Library today, and enjoyed the quiet of our Meeting Room (free for non-profit use), and our free WiFi, to catch up on blogging about their ride.
