Saskarc is a custom steel fabrication facility and site equipment sales and rental supplier serving Western Canada. Saskarc Industries is comprised of two complimentary groups, the Fabrication Group and the Equipment Group. Saskarc Fabrication manufactures large custom metal solutions for the oil & gas, mining, petrochemical, and power generation industries. Not only do they have the space and ability to fabricate some of the largest industrial projects, they are highly efficient in coordinating numerous contracts and delivering project management expertise. The Equipment Group specializes in site equipment rental and sales serving mainly the construction and mining industries. Working with other internationally accredited organizations, Saskarc Equipment has the unique ability to provide large inventories of on demand products for sale and rent. Some of the equipment offered by Saskarc are Light Towers, Generators, Heaters, Pumps, Fuel Storage/Transport, Air Compressors and Safe Access Systems.

Take a look at this galvanized stair tower assembled into one piece and ready to ship to the job site! This stair tower, which traditionally would have shipped to site in stick steel and then assembled in place, is for providing operational access to a Air Cooled Condenser. In this case, modularizing it into one piece reduces cost on site, as well as provides access while constructing the Air Cooled Condenser, to minimize scaffolding required. Win-Win!

This week commenced the shipment of the first 6 of 12 Air Condenser Fan Deck Modules to a natural gas fired Power Station project. These modules, which already have fan, motor and gearbox installed for plug and play installation on-site, were modularized offsite while earthwork, foundation, and support structure was concurrently being constructed on site. Modularization sure makes an efficient operation!

Saskarc is well underway on the fabrication/assembly of seventy-two Air Cooled Condenser Fin Tube Bundles for a natural gas fired Power Station project. To eliminate congestion and double handling on site, Saskarc will stage the Fin Tube Bundles in its 14 acre laydown yard so they can be delivered ‘Just in Time’ to the project site for installation.

With over 7 million pounds of plate recently received from our Mill suppliers, we are gearing up to commence this large project.
