This page is to explore options for students from other cultures to experience Canada within Grey-Bruce, Ontario YES Canada offers study abroad programs to over 20 exciting countries across the world. Students are given the opportunity to experience new cultures and languages while living with a host family and attending a high school in the country of their choice.
Currently, Yes Canada is hosting five students in Grey-Bruce. We are continually seeking host families, especially in Meaford.

Host are compensated monthly and provided with support and feedback while they are hosting. In return, families are asked to treat the student like a member of their family. YES Canada is seeking one more host family for an incoming exchange student from the Netherlands. This student enjoys learning about new cultures and is looking forward to his time in Canada. He is friendly and is able to make friends quickly. He speaks four languages, and has a good base of English. Host families are compensated monthly and are asked to treat their student like a member of the family. Host families will be provided with support and feedback, and will check in regularly with the family and the student. We would like to get this set up as soon as possible to give the host family and student a chance to get in touch before arrival.
