GBHS is proud to care for patients in our hospitals in Markdale, Meaford, Lion’s Head, Owen Sound, Southampton and Wiarton. Together, we serve the needs of over 165,000 permanent residents, in addition to thousands of seasonal residents and short stay visitors.
Supported by approximately 250 physicians, 1,600 employees and 1,100 volunteers, GBHS provides 24/7 emergency services at all of our hospitals. We offer over 60 different programs and services, including diagnostic services (MRI, CT ), ambulatory care clinics, medical and surgical services, mental health inpatient and outpatient programs, dialysis, obstetrics, and withdrawal management and addiction services.
