Who doesn't love spaghetti or lasagna?! Join with us on Sunday February 21, 2016 at Maple Grove United Church as our congregations serve together and raise money for the Canadian Food Grains Bank. Tickets are on sale now so be sure to leave a message or call the church to reserve your spot. Tickets are $20 per person. Our first sitting is 4:30 p.m. for 5:00 p.m. and the second sitting is 6:30 p.m. for 7:00 p.m. Looking forward to seeing you there! (KB)

It's coming...Tuesday February 9, 2016 is our annual Pancake Supper! Join us for pancakes, sausage, fruit, treats, tea, coffee, and more. Dinner is at 6:00 p.m. and a Service of Ashes will take place after that. All tickets are $6.00. Deep, quiet and reflective worship tonight...a night of honouring and remembering those who walk in the valley of mental illness. We can trust that God will never let us go...let's continue to share the Light and offer grace to all. We lit candles in honour and in memory of those we love who face daily trials of darkness. Join Sheila Murray and Kim Roberts Belanger at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday January 27 at St. John's United Church. We will be hosting a short service of prayer and remembering, honouring and celebrating, quietness and reflection. We all know someone, or live with someone, or battle ourselves with depression, anxiety, suicidal thoughts, and other mental health concerns...it's time for all of us to be aware and talk about these issues that tend to get quieted because of social stigmas.
