I showed Jamie a portrait I took yesterday of a lovely young lady, and she loved it so much she asked if she could have one just like it. I wasn't about to say no. It is not easy to get her in for portraits these days! I think she looks magical sitting in the forest by the pond!

"L'il Stinker" Jaxson Alexander came to visit us today so I spent all day sewing him this adorable little skunk costume. Only nine days old and already melting hearts (mine)! He did a fantastic job!

Got a toddler with a cute new raincoat? We've got a portrait idea for that! We've got ideas for just about anything. Little Eleanor loves puddles and raindrops so much. Not sure about her thoughts on frogs yet.... ;)

Hope everyone enjoyed their long weekend! I think the addition of a stat holiday in February was a wonderful idea! The next long weekend will be Easter weekend, and oh boy! Are we going to be super busy until then. Pets all day on Sunday (so far only doggies though - was hoping to get a few of the more unusual pets in for a portrait!), and then we jump right into our Easter/Springtime sessions until March 15th. What happens after March 15th? Well, something exciting I think, but for now it's a secret ;)

We had a lot of requests recently to have an event just for the furriest children, so here it is! By popular demand, our Furry Friends Mini Sessions. For one afternoon only, we will be offering a three image mini session that comes with a gorgeous 11x14 print! Dogs, cats, bunnies, birds, snakes, whatever you want, we will be more than happy to take portraits of! (Yes, I know the birds and snakes aren't furry.) I want to see all your pets, and give you beautiful keepsake portraits you can treasure forever! Message us to book your spot.

Two adorable sets! A rustic Farmer's Market, or a blue Spring theme with or without Easter greeting, will be available from March 1st-15! More props will be added too. The sessions will be about half an hour long if you choose to do a wardrobe change, and you will get to view your session right away to select your digital images and print package! Dates and details will be available soon, but Farmer Eleanor and I were too excited to wait to show you one of our Easter sets this year! Perfect for a boy or girl, our little "Farmer's Market" theme is super sweet! (ducks are animals, not props, so ours are photoshopped in!)

"Birds of a feather" This rainy afternoon inspired some springtime art featuring Eleanor, helping to keep her fellow feathered friend stay dry!

What a fun day we had with all those puppies here! Look at how big they are! Though a lot of that is just pure fluff. I had several people message me to ask if I could do a pet portrait mini session next, so they could all bring in their doggies (or catties or any other pet you might have). I think it's a great idea, so once i get a good package put together I will make a post. If you have a fur baby you love, keep an eye on our page for details!
