Battlefords Union Hospital (BUH) Foundation is a non-profit, charitable organization (1992) dedicated to enriching patient care at BUH and Battlefords Region Home Care through responsible stewardship of community contributions and volunteer resources. Battlefords Union Hospital (BUH) Foundation is a public Foundation (April, 1992) dedicated to the enrichment of patient care by acting as the fundraising agency for Battlefords Union Hospital. BUH Foundation, operating independently of other health care organizations, supports funding for the purchase of capital and non-capital equipment and staff education at BUH. Through a bequest from Victor Pearsall in 2011, BUH Foundation began the Victor Pearsall Home Care Fund, allowing funding for Battlefords Region Home Care.

Vision: Excellence in Health Care through community engagement.
BUH Foundation is governed by a Board of Directors made up of a maximum of 12 members. The Directors serve three consecutive 2-year terms, for a maximum of six years of service and bring to the Foundation a variety of backgrounds, offering their unique skills and talents to ensure the Foundation's success.
All Board Members contribute their time and effort without any payment or benefit, other than the satisfaction of contributing to the community. They are a working Board, as members serve on various committees, such as one of the four main fundraisers or other ongoing projects.

BUH Foundation also maintains the BUH Foundation Canteen and Gift Shop. All proceeds raised through BUH Foundation Canteen & Gift Shop help to enrich patient care at BUH.

They've been unveiled!! We had a wonderful night at Battlefords North Stars game last night to unveil the 2018 Art of Courage installation for display on Third Floor at BUH. Thank you to Lionel & Allison Hawryliw & family for sponsoring this years' installation in memory of Nico Hawryliw. Proceeds from the 2018 Art of Courage Wall will go towards "We Don't Want to Miss a Beat" capital campaign to purchase new heart monitoring equipment at BUH. Huge thank you as well to Warne Photography for the beautiful photographs to make this wall possible and to Ultra Print & Artrageous for their part in the project. And thank you to Battlefords North Stars for hosting us last night and sharing your game with us! We are always so grateful for the support received from everyone.
