SHAH APPOINTED SERPA BMW NEW VEHICLE SALES MANAGER Gautam Shah has been named Serpa BMW New Vehicle Division Sales Manager. He moved from the General Sales Manager position at Serpa Automotive Group’s Avante Mazda. As many of our friends know, Frank Serpa sold the Mazda dealership, which he founded in 1995. Several other former Avante employees have joined Gautam at Serpa BMW. “I didn’t want to leave the Serpa family,” he said. “I couldn’t imagine working anywhere else.” Gautam grew up in Richmond Hill in a family where he and his dad Rajiv and brother Nish were car enthusiasts. He always knew he wanted to do something in the automotive industry and owned a BMW 3 Series when he joined Avante in 2010 after attending University of Guelph and working in marketing for a ‘green’ products/services firm. He also had been a Mazda fan, with a Protégé an RX-8, Mazda 6 in his background. And guess where he bought them—Avante Mazda! His favourite part of the job is “seeing people happy when they pick up their cars” and also “networking, when you talk to different people and find out their needs.” In summer, Gautam likes golf and in winter he enjoys trying different restaurants and going snow boarding. The next time you are at the store, come see Gautam. He loves cars like you do.

We are very pleased to show you the first photos of what will soon become the all-new, state-of-the art showroom for Serpa BMW pre-owned vehicles. It’s the next phase in our showroom upgrade project. For the first time since we took over the dealership, all the pre-owned vehicles will be in one place, indoors. High tech LED lighting will display them in of course the best light, and show off their outstanding features. Customers will be able to walk from vehicle to vehicle, finding the right one in the right style, colour, configuration and series—just for them. This will be a major addition to our Mulock Drive facility and will make the pre-owned buying experience like none other. We look forward to showing it to you when it’s up and running.
