A few new additions to the rabbitry this week. Sr. broken fawn doe and her litter of 6 kits ( 3 solid fawn, 3 broken fawn). This bunch is joining my red program and my tri program. Her name is yet to be decided on.

Litter of 11 Flemish Giants born March 22/17 from Buttercream X Sammy. 5 Does and 6 Bucks in both Fawn and Sandy.

It's hard to believe it's suppose to be spring, according to the calender. The weather has been extremely up and down with a snow storm the other day, now rain and fog and only +2. I have had a lousy start to the 2017 breeding season, only three litters in the nestboxes. One batch of Flemish Giants, one batch of mini Rex, and one litter of French Lops. Lots more does bred and will be bred this week. Hoping the weather in April will be better. If all goes well with these babies I will be able to post updates soon and pics.

Introducing Sara (IM106) broken black steel Sr Doe. Happy to have this girl join the rabbitry. Goes back to my lines and the famous F2 chestnut buck (18 legs). Others include R&K's Fawn out of the doe Shaws Ginger who I purchased at the Louisville, KY Convention back in 2008! Looking forward to breeding her soon. Thanks Carol!!

Happy to post about the return of R&K's Sammy to our rabbitry in February. Now a grand champion with 5 legs and some BIS behind him. I have missed our Flemish Giants so very much. We will breed him to our Buttercream ( fawn Sr doe) when he returns. ( photo credit to Bri Ramthun)

Velveteen Lop for sale. Selling as a pet or for breeding. This gorgeous boy is a stunning black but does have a white spot on his ear. Looks like a fight between litter mates and the bit out of the ear has grown in white hair as it wasn't there before. Born May 2016. This boy has a nice coat and ears measured today are 15.5" in length. $50 SOLD
