Description
Café Venosa is a vegan café and art exhibition space with a socialization area for adoptable cats from Montreal animal shelters. At Café Venosa, we are a vegan, environmentally-vigilant group that seeks to help reduce the animal overpopulation in shelters by adopting our cats and replacing them with other cats from the shelter. All our food is vegan and scrumptious with the planet, animals and people in mind. Even our cleaning products are chosen carefully. We wish not to take from our environment what we cannot give back.
We wish to be a hub of knowledge and fun for everyone, so please share and ask questions!
In conjunction with the amazing and relentless
Montreal SPCA, Café Venosa will be hosting adoptable cats from the shelter. All adoptions are to be done at Café Venosa as we will be recognized as a responsible shelter soon by MAPAQ.
Our cats will have socialization space, play times, excellent no-grain food from Brandy's: Holistic Center and Canine Café, indoor and safe outdoor spaces to hang, and of course the remarkable veterinarian Dr. Lissa Altschuler as a counselor and carer.
Every month, Café Venosa will host a new artist in our gallery space. All artists may apply to: cafevenosa@gmail.com

Café Venosa
Brock attend depuis 9-10 mois pour un maison! Brock Le beau Brock a eu une vie vraiment difficile. Après avoir vécu dans la rue et avoir été abandonné par une famille avec un nouveau-né, il s'est fait battre. Quand nous l'avons rencontré, il avait renoncé à la vie, mais il nous a laissé l'approcher et le prendre. Nous avons su tout de suite qu'il avait une bonne âme. Brock aime beaucoup jouer, il adore se faire toucher et chatouiller et il apprécie les bisous et les câlins. Maintenant qu'il sait qu'il n'a plus à se battre pour survire, rien ne lui ferait plus plaisir que de passer son temps à dormir sur vos genoux, être aimé et recevoir des gâteries ! Du fait qu'il ait eu à se battre pendant les trois ou quatre années de sa vie, il n'apprécie pas du tout les autres animaux et doit être un chat d'intérieur seulement. En revanche, l'amour et l'appréciation qu'il vous montrera équivaudra facilement à cinq chats. Info: cyposia@gmail.com Brock Handsome Brock has had a really hard life. After living on the streets and being giving up by a family with a new baby, Brock was broken down and beaten up. When we met him, he had given up but he still let us pick him up and hold him. We knew right away that he had a kind soul. Brock loves to play, adores being touched and tickled and appreciates kisses and hugs. Now that he knows that he doesn't have to fight to survive, he has found a new lease on life and would like nothing more than tho hang out as a lap cat, be loved and get treats! Because he has had to fight to protect himself all his 3-4 years of life, he does not get along at all with other animals and has to be an only, indoor cat. He will however be the equivalent of 5 cats with the amount of love and appreciation that he shows you. Info: cyposia@gmail.com
