Wednesday, January 27, 2016 is Family Literacy Day. Our students will be working together on a variety of shared literacy activities to celebrate with our school family. Here are some resources for you to celebrate with your family. http://abclifeliteracy.ca/family-literacy
This month we are focusing our character education on responsibility. Being responsible means doing what you say you'll do because people are counting on you. It's not enough to just do the task. Responsible people do the task brilliantly because they understand that it has an impact on other people. For example, do you clean your room without being asked? Are you doing your tasks in a way that impresses the people around you? Responsibility is about getting results for yourself and those around you. It's also about taking responsibility for others or the environment. Social responsibility recognizes that we can support those within our community and within the global community that we can help.
