TOWN of MELITA: NOTICE TO RESIDENTS The Town of Melita will be providing curbside yard waste pick-up. - Pick-up will only be on Wednesday, May 17, 2017 Be advised that the following conditions will be strictly enforced: - For composting reasons, only leaves, grass & garden waste will be picked up; - NO TREES or LARGE BRANCHES - ONLY BIODEGRADEALBE BAGS WILL BE PICKED UP Town of Melita staff have the right to exercise their discretion as to the nature and volume of yard waste that is considered eligible for pick-up. Staff have been directed that if any item exceeds approximately 50 pounds in weight it will be left at the curb.

The Economic Developers Association of Manitoba will be holding their 2017 Spring Forum in Melita on May 31 to June 2, 2017 with the theme, Strategic Economic Development: Building Forward Thinking Communities. A special invitation is given to Chamber of Commerce members, business owners, municipal officials, and to anyone interested in joining the morning session on June 1, Thursday.
