Zumba, Zumba Toning, Sentao,TRX,Linedancing, Booty Ballet, Hard Coie Abs, Bootcamp, Yoga,  Imagine Dance & Fitness had it's grass roots started as a dream in 1996. It started as a part time dance instructor, teaching after hours at different locations 4 days a week in the tri'county area of Oxford County. After 27 years of working in an automotive parts supplier plant, I was able to push my dream forward and with the help and support of family and friends, opening up my first studio in January 2010 in Delhi, Ontario. This dream took a life of it's own and in July of the very same year, I opened my second Imagine studio in Port Dover.  The expansion of the second studio was the direct result of increased interest from


the now growing business of  28 instructor's, helping her bring dance & fitness in different areas near you. In December 2010, a third studio was added in Woodstock, Ontario and in September 2011, a fourth studio was added in Tillsonburg, Ontario.

Dear Lena, I am a 49-year-old woman who is very out of shape. I haven’t exercised in at least 6 years and even back then it was just walking on a treadmill or a short hike. I let my body go in regards to diet and the only form of “exercise” I have done walking to and from the car at work, the grocery store, or to my car at home. I have lower back pain, high blood pressure, and I’m a candidate for diabetes. I’d like to start an exercise program because I don’t want to die young. My health is rapidly declining and I’m only 49. I’ve been following your emails and FB posts for about a year now but I’ve been so afraid to exercise with you because I don’t know if I can do it. I am afraid I’ll be the laughing stock at the studio. I have come as far as sitting in your parking lot watching everyone going in and crying as I drove home…. Can you give me some advice on how I can get started so I can fight my failing health? Sincerely, K. Dear K, First things first YOU CAN do it. You already know you can but the voices in your head are speaking louder than your heart. Anybody can exercise regardless of what circumstances they have. Being 49 and out of shape will not hold you back from getting into shape and having better health. Second, nobody will laugh at you at Imagine Dance & Fitness, we admire the strength it takes to come to class every week and would only encourage you to keep coming. It breaks my heart to get these emails as I know I can help… but its getting people to make that first step in the door that is the most difficult to do. My Imagine studios are a judgment free zone and we take that very seriously. We have people who come to the studio who are in a similar situation and my more veteran clients treat them like their best friends! We support each other because this is a battle that requires help, not condemnation. While the workouts at Imagine are in fact tough, anyone can do them. When you start you can work at your own pace. Start with a 15 min class, next week 20min and so on. No one has to do the full hour and you can take as many breaks as you need. Do what you can do, this is all we ask. You have already taken the first step of action and that is sending this email. It shows you want and need a change in your lifestyle and deep inside you are serious about changing your life and getting healthy. Don’t ever stop …. now that you have the ball rolling. The mind will continue to play tricks on you to hold you down and not let you become the best version of who you are. It will require a conscious effort to ignore the fear and the resistance that has held you back for over a year now. I will not lie to you and tell you it’s super easy. Every single day you need to put in the work to get in shape. Whether it’s preparing healthy meals, doing a workout, going for a walk on your own time. If you can commit to a plan of action you will be amazed at what the body can do. I have high expectations of my members and the clients who follow me and my instructors they get the best results. Imagine Spinning Classes A typical spinning class involves an instructor at the front of the class who leads the participants through routines that are designed to simulate terrain and situations similar to riding a bike outdoors. Some of the movements and positions include hill climbs, sprints and intervals. Using music, and motivation, enthusiastic leadership, students are lead through a ride that best suits their fitness level and goals. Our classes are designed to improve a rider's outdoor skill set and increase endurance while providing an intense cardiovascular-based workout. Tillsonburg Sat 7:30am Delhi Coming Soon!!!!!!
