We at the Beggars Banquet, located at the Point of View Suites in Louisbourg, offer a unique and fun dining experience nightly from June 15th - September 15th. We dress our guests in 18th century style clothing, which we provide, we feed you your choice of lobster, snow crab, halibut or chicken, which comes with fish chowder, pea soup, all you can eat salad bar, homemade baked beans and brown rice. Our food is made fresh daily including our ginger cake which is served at your table while you relax with a cup of tea or coffee. French & English service available. Come join the fun!

· Sabean is ready and waiting to see you at the Beggars Banquet in Louisbourg. She's smokin with excitment. I heard her practicing this morning getting herself geared up to entertain you. We're trying to gently tell her not to sing or play and to let Etienne do that for her. We don't want to scare our guests, we want them to have a great time. Wiped the smile right off her face. We felt bad, we did. We told her that singing would be a waste of her unique talent and she seemed to perk up. Seeing as today's Friday come start your week-end with us at the Beggars Banquet. We had a blast at the Beggars Banquet last night. The laughter was heard all the way to the front desk. Our winter cobwebs are mere memories. Our prize winners of the two wine glasses and a bottle of wine were Mr. & Mrs Thuler, who by chance were here celebrating their 40th wedding anniversary. What luck! We wish you many more! Sabean's ship has docked in Halifax. How she got there so fast I will never know. We must have received late information on her where-about. She called and wants one of us to meet her at Saltscapes in Halifax for the weekend. Guess it will be me. I have a lot to tell her and ask her about the mystery woman who calls herself Sabean's sister. I have a couple of pictures which were sent to me by e-mail. I will show them to Sabean and share with you what she says. The rest of the staff are working hard at getting the Beggars Banquet ready. We will be open soon enough. Reservations are coming in daily. Looking forward to seeing old friends and making new ones.
