Lillooet's local recreation centre, built by volunteers and officially opened in 1987. Your centre for Recreation, Education and Cultural events. The LIllooet & District Rec Centre contains a year-round fitness/weightroom with cardio, weights and a bouldering wall. We have a seasonal ice arena that is home to hockey and figure skaters. Our indoor pool is also seasonal and there are many opportunities for swimming lessons and public swims. The gymnasium has hosted many weddings, pow wows and other large community events as well as drop-in sports like volleyball and pickleball. We have 2 main meeting rooms for rent and offer catering through the Buylow Deli. The Rec Centre is also home to the Lillooet Library, Radio Lillooet:CHLS 100.5, Lillooet Infant Development Society and the Army Cadets. On the surrounding grounds there is our brand new playground won in the BCAA Play Here contest, a skatepark, tennis court, playing field and outdoor basketball court.

Bronze Medallion deadline is coming up fast. Please sign up by Wednesday at 5:30pm if you would like take this course, May 19/20 & 26/27, Friday 5-9pm and Saturday 10:30-5:30pm. Must be 13 years old by the last day of the course and able to swim 200m non-stop. $150 for one or $250 for Bronze Medallion and Cross.
Happy to say, Soccer Tots is going to go. we have enough kids. and room for a few more. It will start May 17th, @ 3:45 to 4:30pm. and will be Mondays and Wednesdays minus the holidays. and run up to 10 sessions. Thank you all for making this happen.
OK people, I`m so sorry for the mix up, I talked to the instructor for soccer tots. I am wondering if there`d be more interest if we changed dates to Mondays and Wednesdays 3:45 - 4:30 NEED TO KNOW ASAP

FRIENDLY REMINDER FOR SOCCER TOTS. WE NEED THE NUMBER TO BE AT 15 BY THE END OF THE DAY, TO MAKE IT WORTH WHILE TO RUN.
Need to know by tomorrow if Soccer Tots is going to run. we need 15 tots to be signed up and paid for by end of tomorrow or we may have to cancel this program. we are at 7 tots so far.

Please join the District of Lillooet and Lillooet Area Library Association on Saturday, June 3 from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m. at the Miyazaki House to celebrate the incredible work you do to help our community thrive. This is a family event open to the community. We will be serving barbequed burgers and hot dogs as well as cake and ice cream. Soccer Tots is going to start up soon. Tuesdays and Thursdays May 16th to June 15th, 4:00pm to 4:45pm. ages 3-5yrs old. $40/child for 10 sessions
