SCC Annual Meeting
What are School Community Councils? School Community Councils (SCCs) are local governance structures. They have been established by the provincial government through legislation passed in June, 2006. They were established in every school in Saskatchewan by November, 2007, replacing Local Board of Trustees or Local Advisory Committees. SCCs provide the community with a voice in local education as well as providing parent/caregiver and community members an opportunity to work with their local school on programs that enhance learning and student well being.
