"I wasn't keen on the idea of a group work out especially because I am shy and reserved. That being said I'm also adventurous and enjoy trying something new." WHAT HAVE YOU TRIED IN THE PAST AND WHAT HAVE BEEN THE BIGGEST OBSTACLES TO REACHING YOUR HEALTH AND FITNESS GOALS? "I love running/jogging. Running helped rid my midsection of the last 10lbs of baby weight. Poor diet and motivation have been detrimental to my health and fitness goals." WHAT MAKES FIT BODY BOOT CAMP DIFFERENT THAN ANYTHING ELSE YOU'VE TRIED? "I relish the highly motivated atmosphere. I actually really appreciate the family feel to the group setting. It makes me proud to see my peers steadily reaching their fitness goals. " WHAT SPECIFIC RESULTS HAVE YOU ACHIEVED AND HOW LONG DID IT TAKE TO ACHIEVE THEM? "Holy bicep peaks! They seemed to materialize out of nowhere. I started noticing my arms around 5 months. My core has never been so defined and strong. If I flex just right I can see those batman abs lying patiently waiting for me to eat better. I have boundless energy after a workout. My running has greatly improved as well. If you’ re like most people, the answer is “not very often.” Our skin isn’ t some plastic barrier against the world- it actually acts more like a sponge and can absorb up to 60% of what we put on it! This means it’ s really important to carefully choose your skin and hair products! It’ s scary to think that artificial fragrances (which are added to practically everything today) contain phthalates. Phthalates are basically a hormone disruptor and can be linked to birth defects, sperm damage, infertility and the feminization of baby boys. We are constantly being told that these chemicals are safe, but ultimately it’ s up to YOU to make that decision and to get informed.
