Brown Eggs and Lamb is a family-based locally owned and operated food retailer located just south of beautiful Gull Lake in Central Alberta. Our store Small Circle Foods is located on our yard, where we house and sell all of our products. We do our best to keep you connected with what is happening in our store and our little farm. Pictures are worth a thousand words!

We just received a shipment of pecorino (a.k.a. sheep's milk cheese) from the Cheesiry. Made from raw milk, folks!
Hello friends! How are we doing, making our way toward the big day? I just got delivery of 22 lovely felted dryer balls for that hard-to-buy-for person on your list! Please note that the store will be closed the 24th, 25th, and 26th. Have a safe and joyous Christmas!
Please take note, friends, that tomorrow, to mark Remembrance Day and all those who have and do fight for freedom and justice, Brown Eggs and Lamb will be closed. We will be open again on Saturday from noon until 6 p.m., so please come and see us then!

Friends, I have good news! My feed costs have dropped for the foreseeable future, so I have decided to drop my egg prices as well. A dozen eggs is now $3.50, so come on out and stock up!

My good neighbour Karla Wyld brought me these flowers from her garden yesterday--how sunny and cheerful! She also brought me some of her garden veggies to share with you: potatoes, beets both red and yellow; carrots; onions. Fresh out of the ground and so delicious!
