Hi, I’m Melissa. I am a small-town Ontario photographer and designer with big dreams. I am a hopeless romantic who is obsessed with tacos, puppies and shoes. Most days you will find me behind my computer either working away hard with a huge smile on my face… Or hardly working, watching my favourite TV shows: The Bachelor, Grey’s Anatomy or How to Get Away with Murder. I’m a wedding photographer, graphic designer and entrepreneur – plus, I am always looking for a new adventure / new place to explore. I am a dog lover, hard cider drinker, cheese connoisseur and championship napper.

My photography style? It is light, honest and genuine. I believe that everyone is photogenic and has a beautiful story to be told. I make it simple by keeping it light-hearted, and focus on those precious candid moments that naturally occur between two people who are madly in love.
My favourite part of my career, would have to be the people. I get to meet plenty of folks, document one of their happiness memories and share in all the love that surrounds them. Years from now, I want you to look at your photographs and have all those memories come flooding back. The bliss, sentiment, light and laughter from your special day. It should almost be like you get to relive it all over again.
I am so blessed and thankful for my life and career. I learn from my mistakes and grow as a photographer every day, looking for new and innovated ideas. No Melissa Bride Experience is the exact same. Yes, you will have a beautiful, entertaining adventure with me but each wedding is captured in a different light then the last one. Everyone is unique!

I snort when I laugh

Steph DeVries and Peter DeVries need no words to express how much they love each other. The sparkle in her eye and the huge grin on his face when they link eyes shows how deep their love goes. Two genuine, heartfelt, caring people found their soul mate and I can't believe I was a witness to this magical and holy moment. Steph was a blushing bride for sure and looked stunning thanks to Casey Diehl Beauty for the makeup Gravity Hair Design - Cambridge, Ontario for the hair. Her beautiful bouquet arrangement flourished in the winter light From The Potting Shed. Plus Peter cleaned up nicely too :)

I had a glorious 2017 year, captured so many loving memories from weddings in an apple orchard to family session in a field with 7 wild children running around. Got engaged, planning a 2019 wedding, meeting many new friends and I could not do any of this without all of you. You are all so supportive, kind and generous! Thank you! This morning I got to hang out with this cutie pie, Darwin! Now the parents have two little boys running around in the house.
Yesterday was my final 2017 wedding and we went out with a bang. What a magical winter wonderland wedding I have ever been apart of!
