RILEY&RILEY are a Canadian-based blues duo consisting of Shaun Riley (lead vocals, guitar, and foot drums) and Wayne Riley (harmonica, background vocals). Shaun and Wayne recently returned from Memphis Tennessee where they performed 3 shows on Beale Street at Kings Palace and The Kooky Canucks. Combined, RILEY&RILEY have produced four independent CD's filled with original Blues Music. Drawing inspiration from North Mississippi hills country blues music, RILEY&RILEY write original songs with a strong emphasis on a steady, driving rhythm and percussion. Their performances display the prominent use of slide guitar, tunes built from guitar riffs, sparse chord changes, unconventional song structures and an emphasis on the "groove". RILEY & RILEY have developed their own unique, emotionally explosive, sound experience. There is a grittiness to their blues that is refreshing. It is raw and different.
