Did you know that the caesar was invented in 1969 in my hometown Calgary Alberta by a man named Walter Chell. He was asked to make a cocktail for a new italian restaurant. His favourite pasta dish was pasta vongole which is tomato sauce and clam. He decided to smashed some clams, added tomato juice with spices and vodka and that is how the caesar was invented! The key to making the perfect caesar is to roll the ingredients in a shaker, then strain into a glass, add lots of ice, give it a quick stir and add the garnish. Happy Monday everyone! Cheers.
