Some stuff we take VERY seriously at the club

We received our second 1-Star rating today and first since we've opened. Not bad! Neither have actually been to the club yet. And yes, you read that right. We received a 1-Star rating a week before we opened. Someone really didn't like our sign I guess.

Hi folks! The weather has made a bunch of people cancel their reservations tonight (rain is scary) so if you're in the area and want to check out a show, send us a message and we'll get you in for no charge! Just send us a message by 4pm.

This week at Absolute Comedy - headliner David Pryde!!! He'll be joined by host Scott McMann along with Greg Houston and Greg Kieran! We like to book all of the Gregs in one shot. Come on out tonight - don't let the rain scare ya. "David Pryde is a Montreal comic whose humour is often called “cerebral”, a word he hasn’t looked up but assumes means “hilarious”. After winning second prize in a stand-up competition in Halifax (one pitcher of beer), David went on to pursue stand-up and in 1999 won the Just for Laughs Comedy Night in Canada Competition. Since then he has performed in the U.K., USA, Australia, and a whole lot in Canada. He’s appeared in galas at the Just for Laughs, Winnipeg, and Halfax Comedy Festivals, had his own special on CTV’s Comedy Now! and has made multiple appearances on CBC’s The Debaters in both its television and radio incarnations. He even made a 14-second appearance on The Tonight Show with Jay Leno where he told one joke for Jay’s “Pass the Mic” segment. He has been nominated for three Canadian Comedy Awards, including twice for Best Male Stand-Up."

Who's coming to Absolute Comedy on Sunday February 21st? JAKE THE SNAKE ROBERTS!! You can hear him and comedian Ryan Dennee co-host the K-Rock morning show with Big Kris Thursday morning! For the show we have two options - the show only which is $25 per person (includes tax) OR you can do the dinner & show with Jake where he will have a couple of signed items, a buffet dinner, and you'll get to hang out with Jake 90 minutes before the general public shows up.
